Research

Brayden's  research

For the game design part of the game and the programming I have look at 3 apps and some youtube video's. One of the sites that I visited is called unity (look at the button for the web site). The other site I looked at is YOYO games, the pros of unity is that it opens a lot of big doors meaning you can do a lot of stuff in it. Yet it is very buggy and it won't load a lot of stuff and crashes so you can't work it. That's why I went to YOYO games because it looked good the good thing is it's really stable and has no problems yet it's very limited in what you can do in the editor. I also looked at some youtube videos for YOYO games that are interesting. And Now I started learning about this new program called Unreal Engine it is very popular and has made some great games in the past so I looked at this software because YOYO games was to limited like I said before.

Isaac's research

Thanks to the community and some research I've been able to see what goes into making music for games. Various videos and websites told me what would be best to use for music and thanks to the community (such as Innovation day and other events) I've gotten some good advice there. We at the moment are working on a story for the game and we hope to make some music to along with it. At the minute it seems we're planning on going for a much darker themed game so expect some very dark sounding sounds.
